The community origin of this box is uncertain, but an educated guess would say it is from New Lebanon, NY. New Lebanon began selling seeds in the late 1700's and continued into the late 1890's.This box is hand-dovetailed out of pine with a stained finish. It measures 5" high, 7" deep, and 15" long.
