Alfred, Maine sewing desk made from pine, butternut, and walnut. Hand dovetailed drawers and hand turned knobs. The sewing desk was used by the Shaker Sisters as a work station. This desk features a pull out work surface and a dozen drawers. The case is pine, finished in red. The drawers are butternut with walnut for the pulls. Original sewing desks are highly sought after. This one measures: 40 ½” high, 31” wide, and 25” deep.
