This blanket chest was originally built by Ziba Winchester of Harvard, MA in 1821. The underhung drawer may have been a later addition. The original is in the collection of the Hancock Shaker Village, from which we have received permission to reproduce. Ten percent of the purchase price is remitted to the Museum. It measures 39 ¾" wide, 20 ¼" deep, and 36 3/8" tall.
