From Canterbury, NH, circa 1825, this splay leg table is constructed using birch. The drawer is hand dovetailed and the dark cherry knob is threaded into the drawer front. The top has breadboard like ends. I have tried to mimic the time worn finish and cracks in the top. This is simply a beautiful example of Shaker design. Table measures 32” wide, 19” deep, and 26” tall.
